Moved again this weekend...blah... Needed a nice long hot bath last night to revive myself, but at the same time relax and even more importantly…stop my muscles from aching!

Anytime I feel this drained I think of three things…aromatherapy, Kerstin Florian products and Thalgo body products. And this time was no exception. Only problem was, I had to open two of my gifts that were intended for someone other than myself. But first thing this morning I reordered one of each so no worries that she won’t be getting her great gifts!

From Kerstin Florian (or more accurately my sister’s gift…sadly...Lol) I used the Uplifting Invigorating Experience Kit. This bath and body set helps to buff away dead skin cells while relaxing the body and mind. It has a chamomile bath scrub, a eucalyptus bathand an incredible foot cream and foot paddle. It was just what the doctor ordered. I felt completely renewed.

After my bath I used Thalgo Aromaceane Relax. I applied it directly to my sore aching muscles and it worked wonders.

Breaking into my sister’s gifts was the best thing I could have done for myself…I just hope she doesn’t read this!!!

I had such a nice response from our readers about yesterday’s aromatherapy article that I thought I’d write a little more today about it. I thought I’d share with you all what type of reaction is provoked by certain essential and precious oils’ individual scents. Lately, you've probably noticed how incredibly into aromatherapy I've been. I keep writing about it because I'm so impressed with it. I remember back when it was kind of poo-poo'd within the industry or at least within the population as a whole. But then I would think; there is indeed absolutely something to correlating scent with memory. For example, some may be turned off by the smell of rubbing alcohol because the smell may make them think of when they got stiches as a child. Oh my gosh! I’ve got to tell you guys about two new incredible products I recently purchased. Well actually one was a gift. And truth be told…I pondered re-gifting one or the other just because the packaging for both was so gift like and upscale. However, I couldn’t take not trying both of them so my re-gifting idea flourished as fast I had thought of it.

I suppose besides the fact that re-gifting is just wrong, I also couldn’t do it cause they both are for firming and anti-aging rejuvenation. I’m just too plain weak to give anything away that’s even remotely anti-aging! My girlfriend has been raving about Yonka products for years and I knew they were awesome...I just didn't expect...quite this awesome!

Have any of you ever tried a product line called Nuxe Paris? It’s an incredible natural beauty line for those of us who love a natural, youthful look. I like a clear, smooth and golden, bronzed complexion. I like my face to look clean and simple. B. Kamins! (Part two)

So yesterday I told you guys I’d tell you what I had read about B. Kamins after I had already finished yesterday’s blog entry.

Well within the article I mentioned that I felt my eyebrow hair loss was from hormonal issues. In a word, peri-menopause! However, I also wrote about how well B. Kamins treated that hormonal hair loss. I’m so excited about a product, that I actually went to the website to rate it! It’s called B. Kamins Eyelash Fortifier; however, I use it for my eyebrows. I mean I should be using it for my eyelashes as well…but at least I have/had eyelashes!

My eyebrows, however; not so much! In fact, I was having dinner with my neighbors when all of a sudden the wife of the couple said, “Karen, don’t you have any eyebrows?” And I said, “Well yes, but they’re blonde.” Then she proceeded to say, “Well mine are blonde too but you can see them! You ought to at least draw them on.”

So I’m thinking to myself…”When pigs fly!” I mean of course I’ll enhance them with some color and brow spray…but the day I artificially paint them on is the day I officially give up on beauty!

Don’t get me wrong…I love my neighbor to death…and I know she was only trying to help, but I have my certain beauty boundaries…if you will.

However, I have to say…help…she did! Because I went home that night, washed my face and started applying my B. Kamins Eyelash Fortifier faithfully! Within days (not weeks as the product indicates for me anyway), I had started to see results. They were still blonde but they were plentiful and lush! I no longer look like a space alien with no eyebrows nor do I look like an older woman with hormonal hair loss!
