Top Talk Show Beauty Tips
You would think having 30 years of experience under my belt would provide me plenty of knowledge to share my beauty tips with you; but I’ve got to tell you, I almost think I’ve learned more from watching daytime television than all my education and professional experience combined. Of course, I’ve shared with you different beauty tips and secrets I’ve learned from television along the way, but there have been a number of talk show episodes that I just haven’t given their proper due. But when I see a really good episode or a segment pertaining to beauty that either pique my interest or I go so far as to try them out, I jot them down so that I can share them with all of you. Well today’s the day you’re going to hear about 6 of my favorite talk show beauty tips and secrets from the recent past. I have been compiling them for quite a while but the following stand out above the rest.
1. Dr. Oz- Biggest Bang for Your Buck (Fractora Firm segment)
2. Dr. Oz- Fixing Your Flat Zones Butt Boosters (denim pocket placement and the padded garment)
3. The View- Rent a dress gift card
4. The View- The Hottest Beauty Products of 2013
5. CBS: The Talk- Talk Takeaway: Beauty With Louisa Graves
6. Katie-How To Look Beautiful With Less Makeup (video is called how to Look Your Best On a Budget)
Dr. Oz ranks in the number one and two spots with Dr. Oz’s Biggest Bang for Your Buck episode and his Fixing Your Flat Zones Butt Boosters episode. Check out his segment on the latest in noninvasive face lifts. Traditional facelifts can cost upwards of ten grand, but the Fractora Firm costs a mere 300 bucks a treatment…and is safe, quick and noninvasive! And as for the latter…I’d give anything to get rid of some of my backside but it turns out that many women with little or no butt really do indeed want one. Dr. Oz’s Fixing Your Flat Zones Butt Boosters truly offers some easy ways for baby to get back!
As I was watching The View the other day they started chatting about an audience give away in which they were giving every audience member a gift card or certificate for a company that rents designer dresses (along with a gift card from Olay) and it donned on me what a brilliant idea that is. I’d heard of renting bridal gowns before but I had never heard about renting expensive designer gowns before. It’s great to know that for the fraction of the cost (of buying), you can look spectacular in a famous designer’s dress. And The View got the fourth place spot as well for their episode called, The Hottest Beauty Products of 2013. I was particularly excited about the easy to use John Frieda round brush all-in-one hairdryer and some fabulous hair extensions they featured.
The Talk invited beauty expert Louisa Graves to share some of her beauty secrets and I have to say I was more than thrilled with her idea for treating cracked, dry and rough heels with their Talk Takeaway-Beauty with Louisa Graves feature. It turns out we can have gorgeous soft feet and heels simply with some milk, vegetable oil and butternut squash!
Lastly, we all love Katie Couric’s new talk show…correct? Well you’ll love it even more after checking out a particular segment video from Going Au Naturale How the Pursuit of Beauty Impacts Us episode, titled, Look Your Best on a Budget (The video features the beauty of a makeunder…not a makeover!)
